I went to the Urgent Care today way before they closed at 7 PM. It states that on the website and the door open to 7PM. I knocked on the door and pointed at the sign. I spoke to a gentleman and told him my daughter needed to be seen for a splinter in her foot. He said the Doctor was already gone and he couldn’t do it. I have been there until 7 and they have taken patients up until 7 PM before. Very disappointed as I drove all the way there just to be turned around.

This facility needs to be more disabled friendly. Biggest issue is that the toilets do not follow ADA standards. They are too low, making it difficult to get onto from a wheelchair and literally impossible to get up from. I had to shout for my husband to come into the bathroom to pull me up off of the seat and back into my chair. Hope owner corrects this problem quickly. Also, ramp from parking to building has dirt at the bottom with weeds growing in it.... not a welcoming or good first impression. First time I was there, the woman who took me thru the stations knew what she was doing, but was impatient and unkind. Dr. Alch was great, as was Tim Roberts, nurse practitioner.

LRUC has been the only place that has consistently helped me, especially through covid. The wait time is long, but worth it. They use the best researched methods, are methodical and patient. When the hospital discharged me and home care never came out, the doctors here even helped me with notes for work. Anyone with some decent patience will benefit from the care here.

Apparently LRUC doesn't understand the word 'urgent'. Two hour wait with 6 people ahead. When it came our time, people who had come in after we did got in. They couldn't tell us approx. how much longer we would have to wait. So we didn't. They had excuses. But when you are in pain and feeling really bad, excuses don't cut it, especially when they say they are giving priority to people in pain, like my wife wasn't.

Frontline staff do not wear masks and are rude, especially the big guy (intimidator). The person taking my blood did not wear gloves. The bathroom was filthy.

Be prepared to wait a long time. Several staff, including the doctor, were not wearing masks.

This facility follows NO CDC protocols to protect patients/staff from coronavirus. Masks are NOT required. Patients are NOT screened before (or even after) entering the facility. Front-office staff are NOT wearing masks. Pens and clipboards are reused without sanitizing. Seating in the waiting area is NOT spaced to allow for social distancing. I could go on. It's possible this facility has the best doctors on the planet -- but the way they've allowed this urgent care center to operate during a pandemic should make any potential patient question their competence.
