I was prepared to have a long wait on a Friday afternoon of a holiday weekend, when flu and covid cases are elevated in our community. My son just had a stye and we needed to see if he needed medication. When I saw the option for a telehealth visit, I jumped on it. It was so easy to do all the paperwork online and pay online. The NP showed up in under 5 minutes of the scheduled time. From start to finish, from making the appointment, doing the paperwork, paying, to finishing the visit, we were done in under 45 minutes. And we didn't even have to risk picking up a flu bug in the waiting room. I'll definitely use this option again.
