Told the front desk what I was there for, which was some medications. I recently moved so I’m in the process of finding a new doctor but in the mean time needed a few medications for an upcoming trip. I paid for my visit only to be told by the doctor that he can’t prescribe anything for more than a few days, he can’t prescribe anything prophylactically. Took 20 seconds of his time and refused to refund me. Doctor’s knowledge of medications was laughable. I came in asking for malaria prevention medication and he told me he could only give it to me once I already had malaria. The whole reason you take malaria medication is to prevent it! You should be ashamed to call yourself a doctor if you’d prefer to wait until your patient has malaria to treat it instead of giving them a safe and effective preventative medicine. When I asked them for a refund I was basically told it was my fault I couldn’t get medicine even though I asked beforehand if it would be alright. I’m disgusted with my interaction and I feel sorry for anyone who has the misfortune of seeing this joke of a doctor.

After certain symptoms I felt the need to get a pap test. I called MD in North Miami to see if they could do it and they confirm. Then I drive 40 minutes, wait about an hour to learn that they did not offer this test. After explaining that I called in advance, the physician accepts to make the test and sees nothing abnormal. Long story short I received a call the next day asking me to go back because the sample taken was ruined while taking the test. I refuse to go there again, and asked for a refund. Only 50% was refunded and another physician was able to see the problem during consultation. In addition Quest is trying to collect for the failed test due to MD billing error.
