My husband went in to MedAccess in Roxboro to get his arm looked at on December 30th and they told him he needed further evaluation. He was then sent to see an Orthopedic the next day. The Orthopedic Dr was scheduling him for an MRI. Two days later the MedAccess Dr called him to see how he was doing and he told them that he had not heard back from the hospital to schedule his MRI. The Dr told him that it was urgent that he get this done and if he had not heard anything by January 3rd, he was to go back to MedAccess so that the Dr could provide him with urgent paperwork to have this MRI done. So he went in first thing on the 4th to get the paperwork from the Dr and they charged him another full office visit through insurance and also charged him another $50 co-pay. Your office had no right to do this and should not required him to pay this when the Dr told him to come in so they could get this going asap. I have called my bank to put stop payment on this and have also reached out to the insurance company to fight this when the insurance bill comes through. He really thought this office was sincere but obviously it's all about getting more money out of people. SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!
