Had a stye issue this morning and walked in to the urgent care center the same day as I couldn’t get appointment with my PCP. Was able to get an appointment to check it out very quickly and the appointment was very smooth and informative. Staff was very friendly! They did not rush me when I was explaining my issue and took time to give care instructions. Definitely will recommend!

came in with stomach pain and discomfort when urinating. I had come in three days prior and was given antibiotics for an infection - I was told had a high white cell count so an obvious infection, and was put on antibiotics for two days and symptoms subsided. i was taken off antibiotics early due to bacteria culture showing no growth, and symptoms returned so i returned to the urgent care.   A urine analysis was taken again today and the doctor told me that I did not have an infection ON PAPER despite me repeatedly reiterating that I am having symptoms, I am experiencing discomfort and that I am struggling to use the bathroom, need relief from these symptoms AND IT WAS CONFIRMED I HAD AN INFECTION AT THE FIRST APPOINTMENT DAYS PRIOR. the doctor proceeded to ask me “sooooo what you hope to gain from this appointment” … um to pee normally? what?  and asked me if i had seen an obgyn recently - which would not happen to a man. you as a doctor should know im coming to you because i have symptoms impacting my daily life and you can treat them. why would i spend hours of my day and hundreds of dollars and embarrass myself telling you it hurts when i pee, just to not get any relief? i can only assume this man was accusing me of something and didnt care to put it in any effort past that thought without really paying any attention to my symptoms. to insinuate that i cannot tell the difference between vaginal pain and pain/discomfort in my urethra/when i pee and to ignore my symptoms and refer me out to an OBGYN months in advance for problems urinating is infuriating. telling me to take a tylenol and that i pulled my back when im telling you it HURTS to pee is insane. it felt like the doctor was rushing me and making assumptions about me because he was running late, and i felt like i was being judged more than helped and quickly realized this person will not look deeper into the problem and give me the relief i needed. i was uncomfortable and anxious the entire time because of how evident it was this person did not care to acknowledge I HAD AN INFECTION ON MY TESTS NOT EVEN THREE DAYS PRIOR, EVEN IF ITS NOT BACTERIAL OR WHAT YOU ASSUMED I AM IN PAIN AND I NEED A DOCTOR TO FIGURE OUT WHY. I came in to see you to get relief from my symptoms faster than a primary doctor could offer, and left with no relief and i still cannot use the bathroom without discomfort. the doctor tried to tell me that FLANK PAIN AND PAIN WITH URINATING is musculoskeletal and i probably just pulled a muscle in my back… doing nothing but minimal movement the last WEEK. it felt like anything but acknowledging this pain made the doctor feel good and i would not return to the clinic if this doctor was working, even if it was urgent. how embarrassing to drag myself out of bed and tell a grown ass man it hurts when i pee just for him to ignore me and send me back home to the same pain and tell me it could be anything but a real problem.  nothing but good things to say about front desk workers and nurse assistants, kind and welcoming as always and went above and beyond trying to make me comfortable.

Check-in was easy, the front-end staff was friendly, and scheduling was easy. I went in looking for relief from a prolonged cough causing muscle tension and neck pain. I was disappointed with my experience with the provider. I felt that the situation was escalated very quickly. I was told I needed to go to the ER based on a symptom I never described. The provider then handed me my own phone and told me to Google said symptom rather than explaining her concerns herself. This was extremely alarming and felt inappropriate. After seeing how distressed I was, she suddenly changed her recommendation and told me she would “meet me in the middle” and wait two days instead. Ultimately, the ER recommendation did not even appear on my exit paperwork. The entire interaction was confusing, unnecessarily frightening, and poorly communicated. I left feeling panicked and, frankly, like no solution had been provided.
