NextCare Urgent Care, Avondale

I had recurring symptoms for a UTI and I could not get an appointment though my PCP. I was able to get a same day appointment with next care and they enter able to see be earlier than scheduled. Everyone was nice and professional. Luckily I didn’t have a recurring issue. I highly recommend this particular location and next care

Waiting for over 2 hours and I had an appointment.

I asked for an excuse note to take my kid today to school because he missed the morning, The doctor made me to wait 10 more than mins , he was just typing his notes(i said this because i saw his screen when i came out of the room) all of them were sitting there in the desk and no one talked to me  , my child heard when one of the assistants told the doctor , "your patient is leaving, he just responded why)  my child  was the only patient inside , so its not like he or the assistants were busy seen patients . The letter was nothing special just a letter to go back to school the same day , also I wasnt expecting other discharge papers . First  time that this happened in that place . Left the clinic with out the letter.  .

My initial wait time was reasonable. The wait time in the patient room was so long I started to think I had been forgotten. I was surprised because it didn’t appear busy when I arrived (0 people in the waiting room), especially in comparison to when I left (10+)! The nurse did acknowledge and apologize for the wait once he came in. From start to finish I was there 3 1/2 hours. However, the care I got was great. I appreciated the kindness and empathy of the intake nurse, and I thought my patient care nurse was thorough in his examination and explained everything and answered my questions to my satisfaction. I’m starting to finally feel better. In the end, it was all time well spent being able to include everything in one visit, including the necessary chest xrays. The radiologist was even able to confirm the preliminary dx before I left. This is not my first time using NextCare, and I will remember this for the future. Thank you.

Came in on my lunch break to have my ear flushed and the staff had the rudest attitude and extremely unprofessional I was told I could leave without being treated and the Pa said that she had 3 other people that could receive care aside from me if I had any concerns i wouldn’t recommend ANYONE to this facility they are very unprofessional

Very disappointed with staffs concern for my mother.  She tested positive for Covid and due to medication combinations had to be given different drug that was very hard to find.  I called office three different times to have dr call in something else or find where we could get this drug and NO ONE EVER CALLED BACK.   No co cern at all for My mothers care they’d take my initial call and all info three different times and never got a call back.  Very disappointed with staff

My son got hurt in a football game and it was close to closing but they still took him and xrayed him and put a splint on him

This was a terrible visit because I was seen by Regina Jones FNP and she prescribed me the wrong medication for an infection on my arm. She gave me a ointment for staff infection or strep. When I came in. She said that I had ringworm when I look up this medication that I was given called. Mupirocin when I looked this medication up, it said that this medication is not used for fungal infections so now I have to come back in to urgent care pay my co-pay again and be seen again because I was prescribed the wrong medication and it did not work I would not recommend this NP. My ring worm today is worse.This visit was less than 4 mins mind you.

Very easy to make online appointment and complete medical info prior to coming to Next Care. Check-in was easy and greeted right away! The staff was so helpful and kind! Wait time was fast as I was in pain from my injury they sure helped me to get diagnosis and results of X-rays promptly so we could get back home.
