Went specifically to get an X-Ray at the Ocotillo location but there was no technician on duty.

It is first come, first serve which is fine, just don’t pretend that making an appointment matters. I had a sore throat and got a negative strep test, and was told “no treatment” despite having pus on a tonsil and swelling and soreness in just one for five days- all red flags. Luckily, I can get in with my primary on Friday, and will be trying alternative urgent cares in the future.

I couldn’t get an appointment with my PCP  instead had a perfect experience for a medical appointment. Walked into urgent care office, saw nurse practitioner, was given a lab test, after results of a lab test, I left office with prescription.

I did not schedule an appointment. Came in on a Friday after 5pm because I had seen an EMT 6 weeks ago with no results on sore throat, mouth sores and post nasal drip I had for the past 9 weeks.  Reception gal was very friendly and helpful as I filled out information. The medical assistant was professional, informative and very friendly.  Noriko Roberson was patient and the best medical professional I have seen with this ongoing problem. She wrote prescriptions that have already helped my symptoms. I will not hesitate to use NextCare Urgent care again and recommend them as well.

Everyone was amazing, thoughtful, caring, and had my best interest in mind!

Easy walk in appointment. Get provider and staff. Short wait.

I made an appointment in the middle of the night for the first one of the day. I got there right when they opened and check in. The nurse came out and looked and saw I was the only one. Then I kept smelling disinfectant like someone is cleaning. Shouldn’t the office been clean last night? Or before the doors opened? Then 35 minutes after I arrived the nurse called the other person who came in at 8:20. The receptionist said no that’s the wrong person. He had to go back and check. Finally 40 minutes later the nurse asked me questions. I had to spell every medication I was taking, which was 4. He typed with 2 fingers and I thought he would never be done. I took the covid & flu test.  He put me in a room and left. I had to sit on stacked chairs and the drs chair was on the table. The PA came in and looked at me, listened to my lungs, standard stuff. He left to wait on test which take 15 minutes. PA came back and sent meds to pharmacy that showed cost over $700 dollars. Nope, can’t afford that. What a waste of my sick time.  When I came out there were several people in the waiting room. Now everyone’s appointments are running at least 30-40 minutes late.   Why? Did the nurse have to clean everything first, were the doctors late or since I’m the only one waiting they just took their time.

Chronic hiccups. We will consider an antispasm meds for now. dr Noriko is always the best at listening.
