Suffered for over a week with excruciating sciatica, a UTI, and a wet chest cough. Couldn't get an appointment with my primary caregiver and best offer was to walk-in and hope for a cancelation. After several pleading phone calls, he called in prescription for one muscle relaxer per day, which if you have ever experienced excruciating sciatic pain you know it's not enough. The Nextcare PA prescribed me 3 muscle relaxers a day, pain pills as needed, and an antibiotic series to fight infection and prevent my chest congestion and cough from developing into pneumonia, and also addressed my UTI. This was my first experience with an urgent care and usually I just put up with health problems until I can get to my primary care provider. My experience with Nextcare was excellent and this was the last time I suffer intense pain or risk a worsening health condition. I recommend Nextcare to anyone requiring immediate professional treatment.

This morning I attempted to schedule a visit with the Acute Care Center I normally go to. I wasn’t able to get in and didn’t want to wait so I called Nextcare. I was told to come in and was greeted very nicely and easily filled out paperwork. Once completed, I waited for a few minutes and then seen by Judith. She was thorough with the exam and we exchanged conversation with her telling me what she wanted to prescribe. We both agreed with that and I went to the waiting room to retrieve the paperwork. While I waited, my pharmacy texted me about the medications and the costs, etc. I mentioned this to the front desk person and even with my insurance, the costs were a bit expensive. She went back to talk to Judith and came back to tell me to go back and talk with her. Judith called my pharmacy and asked them to run the prescriptions through GoodRX, that saved me a few dollars and all came out great. Both of them were very helpful, as well as the attending nurse. Great experience, hoping the meds will work!
