What patients are saying...

We have previously had great experiences with Virtual visits with NextCare, however today the PA-C, Jacki Purvis from Papillion, was so unfriendly, terrible bedside manner, and honestly pretty curt and unhelpful. My daughter was sick and away at college and it's not easy to get in to see doctors. She relies on virtual care several times throughout the year. Ms. Purvis made her feel like she was a nuisance. Enjoy the $250 or whatever you all charge for an awful 10 minute call. Please don't continue to work with people if you can't even attempt empathy/kindness.

The PA prescribed amoxicillin even though my daughter presented with many symptoms of mono including mouth sores. I read online that if antibiotics are prescribed for the sore throat (assumed strep throat) a measles like rash will develop. We asked for a mono test but they only used a spec of blood and it came back negative. The next day my daughters symptoms were worse even on antibiotics so we took her to her normal doctors office and the doctor immediately told us this looked like mononucleosis and to stop the antibiotic immediately. They took a lot more blood to accurately run a mono test. I cannot recommend the provider we had at urgent care. She was nice but she didn't seem to know the difference between mono and strep and she prescribed the wrong antibiotics if there was any doubt.

I was a walk-in for exacerbation of my asthma I thought from allergies.  Check-in was a breeze; I had been here last year.  All staff was very courteous, friendly and helpful.  Dr. McCoy was very thorough, caring and informative; answering all my questions.  I was very satisfied with my visit. I would definitely recommend this provider.
