I was a walk-in, but the wait time was not too bad. My visit went very well. The physician took time to explain my problem and recommended a prescription. I was very satisfied with my visit.

I have been sick for about 8 weeks. This was my third visit to next care. First two the really didn't do anything. I was miserable and crying when I went on the third time. The NP the third time was great. Vert attentive and was very concerned. She said she could see puss and infection and swelling glands. She gave me an antibiotic. Not sure why it took so long to get treatment.

My son sprained his ankle last week so I kept him out of his day program until the swelling went down, which was about four days. In order for him to be able to go back to his state program, he had to have a note from his doctor. But to get a note from his doctor, he would probably have to stay out for another week. So I made an appointment with NextCare. Making the appointment was very easy we showed up on time. We were taking back into the room where we waited for 45 minutes for someone to check out his ankle and give us a note so that he could go back. There was no one else in the waiting room when we got there. To make us wait for 45 minutes before someone would come in look at his ankle, see that the swelling had gone down and to write a note so that he could go back to his day program was ridiculous. During that 45 minutes, no one came in to check on us or to let us know that they were running late or something had come up. They just left us alone in the room, where my son was getting anxious. I’m very disappointed with them for doing this. It took all of 5 minutes for the PA to check out his ankle when she finally got there. We didn’t have to wait that long when he came in with the injury at the beginning of the week.

My experience with Next Care on Old Spanish Trail was for lack of a better word AMAZING! AWESOME is another way to rate my experience. The staff is great up front. The nurse was kind and efficient. The doctor was friendly and caring. I literally made an appointment at work. Got off work, checked in at their office, got seen and got my medicine in under an hour. It was hands down the best medical issue experience I’ve ever subjected myself to. I was in tremendous pain and to get in and out was so appreciated. I am 100%grateful to them. Feeling so much better! And they even call to check in on you and give results in a timely manner. BEST location ever!

I went in for eye problems, the person who took my information never looked at my face until I had repeated for the third time why I was there. The person who came in to diagnose me stood to my side, used a flashlight to look quickly at my eyes and told me it was pink eye due to congestion and prescribed drops 4x daily (with no end date on the discharge paperwork or prescription). 2 urgent care visits later (my eyes were not healing) and a trip to an eye doctor showing her pictures of what my eyes looked like on that first visit and I have a right diagnosis (allergies) with the correct drops. Honestly, my biggest issue was that it didn't feel like anyone really looked at my eyes and pink eye was the easy answer despite my telling them about my history with my eyes and allergies. The person diagnosing stood to my side and it wasn't until after the diagnosis when I turned to face her that she could see both of my eyes clearly and how swollen they were. It felt like a lot of effort on my part just to be noticed. I know this isn't representative of this office, I have gotten great care in the past, so I am truly hopeful this was just a bad visit.

The wait time to get into the initial office with the medical assistant was excessive, as was the wait time to see the provider. However, once she came in to assist, she was attentive, knowledgeable, and efficient. She understood the issue and was very helpful in her assistance. We would recommend this office based on the provider.
