I made an appointment and then missed it because I was at Urgent Care. I got tested for free at Urgent Care so called them to say i did not need appointment anymore and asked for a refund. They refused. They will not give a refund. No where did it say when i booked it that it was non-refundable. These guys are fraudsters and cheaters. Do not go there!

Through a series of events on New Year"s Eve day,I was exposed to Covid. Not a good time to contact health care facilities. After 4 days of panic and stress i finally connected with OVD. They tested me for $275, and refuse to submit their bill to Medicare. I'm 73 yrs old and haven't worked since Feb of 2020. I have asked, pleaded, begged and gotten mad and nothing will make these people do what every other medical group does...submit your bill to the insurance company. we pay a lot of health ins. So I'm out $275 and have no way of getting ANY of it refunded because OceanView won't take the second it takes to submit my bill to Medicare. At this time in our country, how can anyone do this to another person. these people do not care about your health or welfare. I had to ask 3 times to get a copy of their bill. It all is just so suspicious. Why would a health facility not try to help a patient to better health? Greed? Arrogance? Whatever would make a medical group deny a patient a insurance claim when that patient has been paying for insurance for years and years? It's beyond me. Be careful if you go there. Actually, I suggest you do not go there. But that's just me. I would never do that to another person.
