Hello to all considering Optum Urgent Care. I am an individual with allot of anxiety and have never really has a problem seeking help related to anxiety, however going for anything related to my physical condition. I’ve never really needed to as I’ve been healthy. This all changed when I developed a rash on my inner arm, didn’t seek help for a few days even though I was in pain and the rash began to spread on the whole left arm. When I went into Optum Care, the staff from the start with Britney doing my intake and taking my vitals, to Dr. Wenzel quickly diagnosing me as soon as I took my shirt off within less than a minute, knew I had shingles. They all eased my anxiety tremendously from the start to finish as I began taking my medication, thus beginning the healing process. Dr.Wenzel also explained the science behind shingles, how it is transmitted and manifests in the body for adults of a certain age who were not vaccinated against chickenpox. Thus, the whole experience left me grateful for choosing Optum. The whole staff, all we’re kind, compassionate, and understanding, which in turn helped me psychologically, and of course physically! I highly recommend Optum care, especially the location I went to in Hazlet, NJ… 5 BIG STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
