At Physicians Care, we understand that when the need for care is urgent to you, the solution needs to be compassionate, comprehensive, and convenient. Instead of an expensive trip to the ER or a long wait for a doctor’s appointment, our urgent care centers in south and east Tennessee are open late and on weekends. Physicians Care treats injuries and illnesses, as well as provides occupational health and wellness care.

Non-emergent healthcare conditions treated by Physicians Care include: sprains, strains and broken bones; eye and ear infections; burns; bites, stings and allergic reactions; asthma and respiratory issues; flu, colds and viral illnesses; diarrhea, nausea and vomiting; urinary tract infections, and much more. Physicians Care also has suturing and X-ray capabilities, as well as provides both diagnostic and preventive care including wellness visits, management and monitoring of chronic conditions, annual physicals, DOT exams, immunizations, and most vaccinations. Injured my shoulder about 3 weeks ago and thought it would get better by now. Can't sleep at night with the pain so went in. Carolyn Meyer NP was very good. She found where the pain was stemming from, referred me in for X-rays and gave me some meds and a sling. I didn't end up going to the imaging center she had paperwork work for due to my insurance but told me to check with my insurance for coverage locations and found another imaging center. They will send the results to her and we will find out more. First time in weeks I could sleep at night!!! Thank you so much!

Woke up this morning my right eye was swelled and the top of the lid was pink,like eye shadow! I put a warm compress on it, and waited! I had to go to a wedding this weekend so I HAD TO FIND OUT IF IT WAS PINKEYE!! The doc came in and identified it as an allergic reaction! Could NOT figure what it was to??! He prescribed drops and prednisone! I’m much better today! Good job!

Walked in at opening. Though two others had appointments already, the staffed welcomed me with a smile and helped me check in. I was seen by the nurse for vitals within 10 minutes and the doctor did the consult within the next 10 minutes. I was given treatment onsite right away and prescription for ongoing treatment was sent to my pharmacy. I felt completely comfortable and pleased.
