At Physicians Care, we understand that when the need for care is urgent to you, the solution needs to be compassionate, comprehensive, and convenient. Instead of an expensive trip to the ER or a long wait for a doctor’s appointment, our urgent care centers in south and east Tennessee are open late and on weekends. Physicians Care treats injuries and illnesses, as well as provides occupational health and wellness care.

Non-emergent healthcare conditions treated by Physicians Care include: sprains, strains and broken bones; eye and ear infections; burns; bites, stings and allergic reactions; asthma and respiratory issues; flu, colds and viral illnesses; diarrhea, nausea and vomiting; urinary tract infections, and much more. Physicians Care also has suturing and X-ray capabilities, as well as provides both diagnostic and preventive care including wellness visits, management and monitoring of chronic conditions, annual physicals, DOT exams, immunizations, and most vaccinations. Checked into Slov for my App but after waiting 2 hours it seems Solv never entered me as checked in even though on my IPhone it clearly stated I was checked in . I showed the receptionist the picture on my phone that showed I was checked in. The receptionist finally put me in as checked in after over a two hour wait. Wasn’t happy in the least. My Nurse Practioer was wonderful and was apologetic.

I was told that I needed a COVID test and it would be $40 since I was self pay or I could get my own test from the pharmacy. I was given a steroid injection at an additional cost and was told to call back with my test results to recieve further treatment. I called back with my positive results the same afternoon, and the receptionist told me the physician would give me a call and send any necessary prescriptions to my pharmacy. It's been over 3 days now and I still haven't had anyone call and my condition isn't better. The least they could have done was call and tell me what could ease some of my symptoms even if it was over the counter medicine. I'm very disappointed with this facility and feel like I wasted my time and money by going here. This experience makes me leary of going anywhere else to try to get better in fear of it just being a cash grab for the NP.
