I had a red throat and needed to be seen quickly as I have an infusion coming up and needed to have a strep test to make sure I was clear. They fit me in no problem, and Dr. Elvis was pretty amazing.  The woman typing in information kept telling me that it was gonna take her longer than it did, to enter in my information, as I told her I had to be out the door by a certain time. She kept assuring me that I wouldn’t be, which was kind of stressful. I ended up being out of there right on time.

The staff were very nice, polite, and kind, and they made us feel comfortable during the visit. However, as a nurse, I was concerned that my infant’s weight was not obtained before weight-based medications were prescribed. Pediatric medication dosing depends heavily on an accurate current weight, and the Motrin dose provided was lower than what she should have received based on the weight later confirmed at the hospital. I was also concerned that the test result we received at urgent care was not confirmed when I later had to take her to the emergency department for further evaluation. The hospital also identified an ear infection after I had been told at urgent care that her ears looked fine. While I truly appreciated the kindness of the staff, these issues made me question the thoroughness and quality of the medical evaluation, especially when treating an infant with a high fever.

Np was very professional. Happy with the stiches. Intake nurse doesn't know her job well. Sloppy at best. Hard to find good help.
