I went to urgent care in Mukwonago at about 11:00 am for a urine test for possible UTI. I am a 79 year old with chronic cops. After test results, I was sent to ED so they could look at results more closely. They did other tests, including a chest X-ray, bloodwork, ambulatory test, etc. (I went into urgent care in a wheelchair with my daughter.) They decided I needed a further test and I agreed to be admitted to Waukesha Memorial in Waukesha.Said Iwould not be charged for ambulance. At hospital, at about five o’clock, I was offered meds I did not recognize, which I did not take. I asked for a breathing treatment which I did not get until about 11:00. By this time, I was ina full emotional meltdown. Everyone just stood around me looking at me. I wanted to leave as I had everything in my daughter’s car. Instead, I asked everyone to leave so I could try top go to sleep. I was extremely!!! glad that I had my rescue inhaler in my purse. I was kept two nights; the most miserable in my life. I swear I will never go there again! I left the hospital in worse condition than when I arrived. I am still angry.

Was sent to the ED for a non-emergency test to be performed. ED never even did test. Was billed for an ED visit AND received a separate bill from a Dr. I never saw. If they are going to send you to ED from Urgent care, be prepared to ask questions to determine if it is really necessary. Everything they did in the ED (at a cost --after insurance -- of over $1500) could have been taken care of in Urgent Care (for about $200 after insurance).
