Scheduled an in office visit for my son’s annual sports physical.  We waited for an entire hour to be seen by the PA.  I had asked the nurse in the back if we needed to reschedule because we had already been waiting for 45minutes with no one ever coming by to check on us or give us a heads up.  She said we were next to be seen so should be any minute.  We waited another 15minutes (which was a full hour at this point) when the finally PA came in.  She said she was stuck an a virtual appointment!!!!  How in the world does a virtual appointment take an hour of the doctors time away from her scheduled patients let alone emergency walk-in appointments.  I worked in a large hospital in Seattle in the ER admitting patients, so I understand the whole triage system and how it works, but this made zero sense to me to keep us waiting for as long as she did.  We’ve been coming to Rapid med for years and have always had great visits.  This was one of the worst and not sure we’ll be back for our three boys sport physicals in the future.  Very poor time management on the PA’s part.
