To better serve the community’s evolving healthcare needs, Aspen Valley Hospital has upgraded and expanded its Snowmass Clinic to a larger facility in Base Village. The clinic provides comprehensive non-emergency services, and allows our medical staff to better serve the people who live, work and vacation in the Roaring Fork Valley. The 6,300 sq. ft. state-of-the-art clinic features improved access, dedicated patient parking and comfortable private consultation rooms for patients and their providers. Enhanced rehabilitation care for physical therapy patients is also available onsite. The Snowmass Clinic is a walk-in facility that is owned, operated and billed as an outpatient department of Aspen Valley Hospital. Open seven days a week year-round, the clinic treats minor injuries and illnesses of all kinds. Our physicians are trained in emergency medicine and supported by registered nurses, EMTs, X-ray technologists and physical therapists. Diagnostic capabilities include X-rays and limited laboratory services. Aspen Valley Hospital is just a few miles from the clinic and provides an extensive array of diagnostic, emergency, inpatient, outpatient and surgical services. In addition, local physicians provide follow-up care. As an outpatient facility of the Hospital, the Snowmass Clinic has the full back-up support from the Hospital’s emergency department, a Level III trauma center. We accept cash, check, credit card and multiple insurances. As a courtesy, our billing office will file a claim with your insurance company. Virtual Visits To enhance patient safety, the Snowmass Clinic offers telemedicine visits via the Zoom platform, which connects our doctors with patients via their phones or computers for an online—or virtual—face-to-face visit for minor injuries and illnesses. Telemedicine supplements other systems and protocols that have been in effect at the clinic since the onset of COVID-19 to protect both patients and providers from exposure to the virus.
