I have no clue what these bad reviews are about. I have been coming here for several years, for all my family medical needs urgent or not. They are excellent. Book on-line or by phone, walk in and out in 30-45 min. Nicely done. They take all insurances. Awesome!

She is currently practicing in St. Clair Hospital’s Urgent Care. I am a 52 year old man with Cadillac type coverage. When I was seen by Vicki de Carrosco, she treated me like I’m a horror story from the free clinic or some pill monger after I had just sliced the tip of my finger off with a mandoline (It was serious enough for a few stitches). When I first arrived the woman at the desk was extremely pleasant, but once I got into my room it was a whole other story. Immediately after entering the room, without looking at my cut, she told me that I wouldn’t need stitches as it was just a slice of the finger on the madoline. It wasn’t until she couldn’t clean it because I was in extreme pain that she begrudgingly administered something to numb it. Once it was numb, she came back and finally took the gauze off of it and said “Oh!” in a state of shock because she didn’t realize how bad it was. She started moving with a quickness she hadn’t earlier acknowledging that I will need stitches. She began prepping me for a couple sutures, and without warning or checking if the area is fully numbed jabbed me with a needle. It wasn’t fully numbed so I felt all the paint of a needle being jabbed through my already hanging finger tip, and so I obviously flinched and yelled. She then CHASTISED me, as if it was my fault, for her not numbing the area. She told me that I needed to be mindful of her handling sharp objects. I understand her point, but none of this would be happening if I had been sufficiently numbed in the first place. After that she tested the area before doing my last sutures. After she left to type up instructions her assistant, Rachelle, came back with a smirk on her face as if something was funny. I really hope that the right people see this, and that even if you’re in a press drive the extra mile to another quick/urgent care because this isn’t the help that you want. Also worth mentioning, the etiquette they had with needles wasn't safe at all. At one point, the assistant Rachelle had put the used needle on the bed pointed at me. Additionally, one of the rolling trays had a big smudge on it that hadn't been wiped off.

It’s been a year since I’ve been a tele visit patient at your urgent care with an unfortunate experience, and I decided to see if your policies had changed since before writing my review. Unfortunately, as evidenced by recent reviews I can see they haven’t much. I decided to go ahead and write this despite the lengthy time lapse because as more time and data reveals itself, I think your practice should be ashamed by your covid discriminatory practices. I tried to be seen here last summer, & was denied an in person visit because I was hesitant to get the vaccine for my own personal choices. I was clear about my symptoms of ear pain & I always was tested if I suspected covid, but I knew at this visit I had an ear infection and only wanted antibiotics. I was told only vaccinated can be seen in person and then basically verbally assaulted to get tested & vaxxed despite my obvious ear symptoms. I was astounded that I was not even allowed in your practice and how rude your staff was to me. I can not believe you still ask for vaccine cards; it would seem the obvious reality of the past year of transmission despite vaccination escapes you. I haven’t run into this at other doctors offices so it cannot be simply government policies. As medical professionals, this is discriminatory practice at worst and unscientific at best. Patients should not be seen as either “dirty” or “clean” before quality of treatment. I am a nurse and I will never come back here nor recommend it to anyone else again. I hope you have a change of heart & policy truly, as it was once an efficient and kinder place to go.

I will never come to this urgent care again I should have looked at the ratings 1st. They gave me a medicine that gave me a side effect then said that's not a side effect of the medicine when it says it is on the bottle. You need to get receptionists off their high horse. I will not be back!

I’m a physician and my teenage niece who was in Pittsburg with her mom (they are not from Pittsburg) was sick with fever, chest pain, body aches. She was sent to the urgent care by the minute clinic for an exam and chest X-ray. Her mom had lost her drivers license but had a copy of ID, her insurance card and other forms of Id. She was rudely turned away. I called and spoke to the nurse practitioner and asked if they could please see them, knowing they should not turn away anyone who is sick, especially given her mom Had insurance, offered to pay without insurance and had a copy of her ID and other forms. They nurse was rude and and ended up hanging up on me! Unprofessional and unethical!

Went in with a sick 14 year old who needed to be seen. We are visiting pittsburg from out of town. My daughter had headache, low grade fever, cough, and congestion, all over body aches and I wanted to have a medical profession listen to her lungs and if needed take an X-ray. I have insurance, and many IDs but lost my driver’s license two days ago so have a copy and would have paid out of pocket at time if visit but they would not see me. We are not here on vacation and have to stay until Tuesday with a sick child who was denied care at this facility. They would not use a copy of my license and wouldn’t scan a copy of my driver’s license but needed the hard copy to scan into their system. That’s ridiculous. I had a copy they could upload. It is unprofessional and unethical. I have no where to go. My daughter could get worse and that is what I am trying to prevent. Poor service, no regard for health of a minor, and no willingness to care for patient. Unacceptable.
