This place is a joke. Saturday afternoon and I got hit point blank in my face between my nose and my eye by a 2# projectile. The pain was intense and it started swelling immediately. My friend insisted on taking me to convenient care by Walmart. The ONLY thing they did was take x-rays. They did not even look at or examine where I had been hit. I was sent for x-rays & the NP said she couldn’t read them so she told me to call the next day (Sunday) to see if any bones were broke. I had no idea the place was closed every Sunday until I tried to call for my x-ray results and the recording said they were closed Sunday’s. Called downtown and they told me they were too busy with other patients to tell me my results and said they would call me back if they “had time.” Never heard back from them. I called Monday and was told they were too busy taking care of other patients, AGAIN. I told them I was a patient on Saturday and I was still waiting for my results. It took me showing up at the downtown facility, with a blackened eye that was almost swollen shut, requesting the results of the 8-10 x-rays they took. The nurse said they couldn’t see anything broken in the x-rays. But 7 months later, there is a knot or lump on that very bone in the same spot I got hit. The amount they charged my insurance & myself was pricey considering they did nothing & the radiologist took x-rays. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to Convenient Care.
