Urgent Care for Children, Huntsville

Have used the Huntsville location for my family for 2 years now. Staff here are always attentive & caring. Recommend to anyone when you can't get an appointment at your child's pediatrician.

Scheduling and check in is always easy but the staff has gone downhill and the wait times are ridiculous

Son had a productive I use this office often on weekends but between this time and last time I’m not sure I will return. The doctor I saw was the same both times and for two separate kids with two different issues she told me my kids had reactive airway disease-asthma. We see a pediatrician regularly not once has this been on the radar usually my kids have a cough bc of a virus but we were tested for nothing not COVId, flu, etc. meanwhile, once we got into a room, the weight was very long as the staff told me the doctor had four laceration patients she needed to tend to once our breathing treatment was completed. I stepped into the hall to alert someone and another mom stepped out of her room and informed me that her son had a staple put in his head while there that day and they had put it in wrong so she was leading to go to the ER so of course I did not trust the doctors assessment of my son so I called my pediatrician the following day.

Came as a walk in. No one was in the lobby when i  arrived. Maybe 1-2 families in a room- but they left while i was Waiting. Multiple families came in after me, maybe they had appointments, but they were taken back way before me. After waiting for an hour (both in the lobby and visit room) i walked out with my two year old to leave and was assured we were next. At this point it was her nap time, she was hungry and exhausted and obviously not feeling well. Still had to wait after that. Overall it was nearly a 2 hour visit

Had a bad experience at another clinic before I came here but the doctor was very knowledgeable and experienced here and explained everything in detail even took the time to call the er and explain everything. My daughter said it was her favorite doctor she has ever seen because she took the time to explain everything she was doing in detail to her and made her feel very comfortable in the whole process

Front desk wouldn’t look up from the phone to check me in for at least 5 minutes and it took 20 minutes (literally) for a school excuse.

The front desk staff and the medical professional who conducted the physical were all so very friendly and professional.

Had an appt. Waited 30 min to be called back and was there for more than an hour

We were so pleased with our visits. The circumstances were not ideal, but our PA was so good.

I really appreciate both the night before (when I missed the last appointment time), the doctor still came out and gave me some info to get through the night. Also, Mark Merrill who helped us the next morning was incredibly thorough and listened to us to really try to help us work through our issues. Super great provider.
