I had a case of poisen ivy on my face and came into urgent care without an appointment. ( It would have taken a week or more to get a visit with my regular doc). They took me in after filling out my information and insurance. The nurse updated all my personal info; temperature , blood pressure and oxy count on a computer. The doctor came in shortly after, examined my poisen ivy and wrote out a prescription . She also gave me advice about managing poisen ivy. Very friendly and pleasent manner . A few days later I returned with an appointment for a follow up with another doctor, who was also friendly and upbeat to see how I was doing. All is well. I will use urgent care again!!!!!!
