If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately. Wise Health Emergency Center, iCare Urgent Care is an emergency room, commonly called an E.R., providing critical and life saving healthcare services to patients throughout theFort Worth area through their location at2831 W 7th St. They are required by law to be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, even on national holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas.
While their availability can be enticing, you should really only visit an E.R. if you absolutely have to as they can be quite expensive and have much longer wait times than an walk-in urgent care center. In fact, some insurance carriers have begun to refuse paying for emergency room visits that were in fact non-emergent. An interesting fact that about 50% of emergency room diagnosis could be addressed at a quicker, less expensive urgent care center.

Visited this facility with my daughter as an Urgent Care visit on 10/20/20. Check-in was quick and efficient. Both the nurse (Katie) and physician (Dr. Kipp) were friendly and welcoming and made my daughter feel at ease. The care was not rushed and the facility was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this facility to family and friends.

We were billed about $4,000 for the facility and doctor, after insurance. Be careful about coming here. This organization exists to profit off your medical care. They are connected to Wise Health Emergency Center, so depending on their opinion, you could receive a surprise emergency room bill. My spouse scheduled an appointment with iCare Urgent Care and we went to her appointment on time during normal urgent care hours. She was switched to the ER, despite having the same symptoms that her primary care treated her for about a month earlier. She received less treatment than from her primary care, was neglected by her physician (so much for an "emergency" room), and was told they had no idea what was wrong with her. Her doctor was Emil Soleyman-Zomalan. After treatment, she was given the estimate of $1200, which she was told several times not to pay that day, but rather that she should wait for a bill. Around 6 weeks later, we received 2 bills totaling over $4,000, which was the price AFTER insurance. Upon calling billing, I was told that had we paid within 45 days, they would have honored their estimate. However, we never received a statement, a bill, or any other contact that would have allowed us to make that payment prior to receiving the 2 bills totaling $4,000. To add insult to injury, they were doing a food and supply drive for teachers in their waiting room. My family lives off of my high school teacher salary, and my monthly salary is less than this surprise bill. Avoid this place. If you're going to an urgent care, pick one that can't scam you with an ER bill. As an Argyle resident, I drive by plenty of urgent cares in our area. If you have a real emergency, realize that your treatment will be worse here than most medical offices. There is a great hospital in South Denton just a few minutes up I-35.

I visited this Clinic 7-14-20 due to a fall. My leg and knee were both injured and this was reported to the treating physician and the triage department as well. The physician ordered X-ray of my knee but completely missed attempting to treat my back. I wanted to question why but he would not return to the room. The fact that this Clinic has association with Wise Health System gave me a false sense of security going in. Called to complain but got absolutely run in circles with no one willing to call out the physician Dr Travis Coates
