I was bitten by a cat I did not know, so came to get checked.  Was treated quickly and efficiently, tetanus shot, rabies shot, and antibiotics.  Highly recommend the York urgent care clinic and York Hospital emergency room!

I’m from out of town and I was seen very promptly by the team.  I was in there less than an hour. They addressed my concerns and got me on my way. Facility was immaculate. Everyone was professional.  I probably got there at a less busy time, but I would still recommend them.

When I called to inquire about coming in I was told it’s a busy place so it might make sense to schedule an appointment rather than walk in.  With the cough I’ve come down with, I agreed. When I asked to schedule something, I was told to hang up and visit the online site. The first available appt was five hours later. I arrived on time and was taken into another room for payment. I was sitting in that room looking at the backs of computers and many wires and couldn’t see the woman taking to me about my 35$ copay. Her office wasn’t set up to see patients in. My carer was average but gave me a prescription for an antibiotic. The whole experience made me feel like a customer rather than a patient. I don’t think it was the employees who made my experience feel uncaring, it was the detached and disorganized nature of the facility that made me anxious to leave.
