I don't typically leave reviews, but this one is week earned. I recently had a COVID-19 test at the Care Spot in Altamonte Springs, Fl at 1 pm Wednesday, 9/30/20. Got results 10/2/20 at 8 am. Excellent turn around - less than 2 days! This was my first test at Care Spot, but third overall. The Care Spot experience was by far the best. Best turn around - others to 10 - 14 days. No waiting. Very clean facilities. Very nice staff. If I need another test, or any urgent care service, it's Care Spot for me!

When we arrived we waited 15 minutes before some one came to the front. After that we waited an hour before she called us to check in on the tablet. We only need a simple drug test. This one appointment has lasted over 3 hours. The front staff needs some intense retraining, or more than 1 person checking people in. I would not reccomend this facility to anyone.

Waited a hour just to check in, answer 3 questions, told you can wait in the car. Came in for a simple drug test. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone. Front staff needs more training.

BEWARE: $200 VISIT--TOOK PRESCRIBED ANTIBIOTIC--TOO WEAK/TOLERANT--STILL SICK 10 DAYS LATER--WILL NOT PRESCRIBE STRONGER MED W/O ANOTHER $200 VISIT. POOR PRACTICE POLICY. RUDE, UNCARING STAFF. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK. CASH SUCK MONEY BUSINESS. Waited almost 2 hours after my appointment time to go in. This while sick and trying to care for a rambunctious 5 year old. They took my $200 for the office visit. I saw a female doctor who spent barely any time examining me and snapped at my child repeatedly as he was entertaining himself on a tablet at a moderate volume to turn the volume down first, then snapped at him again to turn it off. The doctor confirmed my suspicions that I had an ear infection on top of a sinus infection. She prescribed Amoxycillin to me, a pretty low level antibiotic which they do not even prescribe in other states any more as it is well known that people who took a lot of antibiotics growing up in the 60s-80s have a tolerance to it. But this is what she prescribed, and I took the whole course for 10 days. After 10 days I had no change in my sinus infection, and no change in my ear infection which is still throbbing and blocked up. I called the Care Spot to see if I could be prescribed something stronger as I basically got nothing for my $200 spent. The lady answering the phone was quite flippant and even seemed to take some delight in telling me, too bad, I'd have to pay for another $200 office visit to get prescribed a stronger drug to knock the infection out. Her manner was rude when I questioned how that was fair, and when I asked if they were concerned as a business that I'd have to write a negative review, she cheerfully quipped she didn't care, and that I should write away.
