We were in for a Covid test not long ago. This place cannot keep stuff straight!!!! We called and they said it was neg. then they called later that night and said pos. That was over a week ago and we haven’t received paperwork from them or county health dept confirming pos test. The ladies working with patients have always been good. It’s the back of the house that’s a mess.

There is no point in making an appointment. Walk ins are pushed in front of you anyway. We called ahead to verify they were running on time, been waiting here over an hour after our appointment time.

This is actually for my daughter. Last night my daughter was having severe stomach and back pains so she decided to go to urgent care in Eureka, MO. She gets there and explains her situation to the gentleman. He looked her up and after a while came back and told her because of outstanding medical bills he would have to get permission to even accept her. After a while she just left. My daughter does have outstanding medical bills. A few years back she was diagnosed with cancer in her uterus. As you know the treatments are very costly. The insurance at her work is not very good and she applied for state help. Needless to say, she did get behind on some bills because she couldn't afford to pay them all at once. She was not only paying for the medication, but also the surgeries they had to do every 3 months. She was so scared last night that it had come back and for them to behave like that is 100% horrible. I understand she owes bills, but if they would have looked into it, you would have seen that she is making payments to the Doctors, the hospitals and trying to survive on her income. After she left there and called me I tried to contact them (7:38 pm). The hours are until 8:00 pm. Nobody answered the phone. I will never recommend them to anybody!!!!! I will say this, when they were a little hole in the wall Urgent Care, they were great, but now that they have grown bigger and have different staff members, they are horrible!!!

Just got my bill...$700 for a flu test, and the nurse practitioner on duty spoke to me for less than a min and didn’t listen to my lungs bc the flu is too contagious...and she didn’t wear a mask?! I’m a Heath professional and its droplet precautions i.e. wearing a mask if someone has the flu. For the level of care I received $700 is utterly outrageous. I will NEVER go to mercy urgent care again!

My main concern is how this facility bills as an emergency visit...I had a routine medical issue requiring antibiotics and was charged over $500 because it was billed as an "emergency" visit. This has happened twice in the last year. They also had an issue with verifying my insurance and assured me that they found me in the system and my insurance would be billed. Months later, I received a large bill and my insurance was never billed. The insurance company said they never received a claim. It took me 45 min out of my day to sort it all out over the phone. I also did not have a lot of confidence in the diagnosis given...the doctor seemed unsure, but prescribed meds to "give it a try." I wasn't comfortable with that either. I live in the area, but will go out of my way to another facility when I need to be seen. Never again...it's not worth the headache with billing.

I generally don’t post negative things; HOWEVER, I want to save you from wasting your time, money, and your heath. If I could give Mercy Urgent Care a negative star rating, I totally would! Although we were seen quickly, my husband’s office visit was even shorter than our wait. The “doctor“ saw him for about four minutes. She diagnosed him with a bacterial infection in his ear lobe which was the size of almost a golf ball. She told him that if the swelling did not go down by the end of the anabiotic cycle, that he needs to go to see an ear nose and throat specialist at Mercy Hospital. She prescribed him an antibiotic and sent him on his way. The prescription was digitally sent over to Walgreens in Eureka and we were told it would be ready in 30 minutes. My husband went to pick up his prescription and they had no record of it. Wallgreens told us that it would probably be another 30 minutes for the doctor to actually send it over. We went back an hour and a half later and his prescription was still not sent over to them. I called Mercy urgent care and spoke to a “William”. I explained the situation, he placed me on a hold of about three minutes, came back on telling me to call Walgreens and tell them to refresh their system. I called Walgreens and the woman who answered the phone told me she just hung up the phone with the doctor. So not only did they not send the prescription over in the first place, they totally lied to me by blaming Walgreens. A simple whoops we forget to send it would have sufficed. Here we are days later, and my husband’s ear was getting even worse. He went to Total Access in Ballwin; they found a cyst in his earlobe. They lanced it, cleaned it out, and he is now on the real road to recovery. I cannot wait to get a huge bill from Mercy Urgent Care for a missed diagnosis and plenty of lies. Never ever, ever, ever, ever, ever. And I mean never ever, ever, ever, ever go to Mercy urgent care! I think a veterinarian would’ve done a better job with the diagnosis than the “doctor” at this place.

They are extremely unprofessional and rude, they billed my insurance twice, even though I paid for the deductible at their location. They charged me almost $900 just for a routine visit to get antibiotics. I strongly encourage you to go elsewhere. I would give zero stars if I could.
