This Payson VA clinic is now run by a Nurse Practitioner who should never be allowed to practice medicine or be around patients. I don't know what they learn in school but it is not what doctors learn. This woman just said no to everything I asked for. She was dressed like a homeless person. I would think she would take some pride in her dress to reflect her postition. However she did say several times she was NOT a doctor! So why is practicing medicine? This appointment was set-up with the help of the Phoenix VA GI Department and the Director Of the Phoenix VA. They went to a lot of trouble and work to get me this appointment and I have never been so disappointed as when I went to the Payson Clinic. This appointment was to see that I would have the VA send my medications and re-connect me with the VA. I am a 100% Disabled Veteran, Service Connected, with the highest Disability Rating the VA gives and I cannot get heath care from them. This is from the Vietnam War and I was overseas when I caught Hep-c as a Navy/Marine Hospital Corpsman.
