Doctor just called with my lab work results and in this conversation the time I spent there came up by him telling me the 3 hrs and 45 min was because of testing and the time he spent with talking about what or what might be wrong and he is what put me over the edge he said well my complaint is not valid because the people behind me got mad the time he spent with me!!! Really, doctors visit is to figure out what is wrong and to discuss what is going on. It took 2 1/2 hours to call my name when there was only 3 or 4 people ahead of me. It took all bit 15 min of that to take my temperature, blood pressure and weight and then I was put in a room and waited about 20 min and it took 15 min to take blood and the X-ray 15 min and then a machine that did not work and the poor nurse had to call IT dept to help her fix the machine and that took about a half hour that was not my time it was trying to fix the machine and I was told the test takes 40 seconds at the most! So it would be a total of 45 to 50 min of testing, blood work and blood pressure. 50 min of work on me and two 10 min visit with the doctor. 10 to discuss why I was there and cane back to discuss the test they took and that was about 10 min of that. A total of 20 min with doctor. Give them higher time 50 min plus 20 min is 1 hour and 10 min and that leaves lme waiting around for 2 1/2 hours of wait time. Kicker he said the people behind me were mad because of the time he spent with me. I told why are you even telling me this, is he trying to say they usually don’t discuss possibilities what is going on with your body and they don’t discuss the testing they did and what was seen during my visit? Then why go if they are not to spend a total of 20 min?! What is wrong here people? I finally hung up with him I was not going to argue with a doctor and he also said he did not tell me some of the blood work will be in the following day and he did not tell me he would call me the following day...so I made that up, Wow! Yes, I made it all up!!! This is unreal!
