Friendly staff. NP was so sweet and nice. She was very thorough, she gave me options for treatment, and also a follow up plan. She made sure all my concerns were covered.

Immensely helpful to have access to care after hours without having to burden the ER with a non-emergent issue, or burden ourselves with a long wait time, exposure to much sicker people, plus a giant copay. Really appreciate the ability to book a time and register online in advance.

The NP we met with went above and beyond consulting with us and making sure our child got the appropriate diagnosis and best possible care. We were very satisfied.

I filled out and uploaded documents, still had to do several steps again when I arrived. This might just be routine to make sure everything is correct. We were not seen by a doctor, a nurse practitioner saw us. She diagnosed ear infections in both ears and asked if I would like to be prescribed antibiotics and a steroid eardrop. I was feeling uncomfortable with the lack of Dr and the way the nurse asked what I would like to prescribe, she recommended Amoxicillin. I went with the antibiotic but did not ask for the steroid. When I asked what the ear drops would do up I was uncomfortable with the answer - help out until the antibiotic kicks in. I waited 1hr and went to the pharmacy that we agreed the prescription would be sent to - Walgreens. When I arrived at Walgreens they had not received the prescription yet. I called back the urgent care and they said the Dr would resend, I never saw a Dr. But the prescription now registered at Walgreens. I followed up with my primary Dr the following morning. Turns out the nurse practitioner had been incorrect - there were no ear infections, both my child’s tubes were clear. A sore throat and possible strep (a test was ordered by my primary). I found this experience unacceptable.

The clinical care was fair. However, the individual who checked out our child in the exam room prior to the NP’s arrival smelled of freshly smoked marijuana. This is totally unacceptable when caring for children.

Everything was great from check in to our patient care experience. The only negative was some of the ancillary staff didn’t get accurate measures of temperature and didn’t verify our child’s age before medicating him. Other than some basic education & refreshing of skills, everything was excellent; especially the NP-C.Bartley
