Quality of care
The degree of careless incompetence recently experienced with this urgent care facility is staggering. On April 7th (only ummm something like 12 days ago?), my boss sent me to Bayside Urgent Care due to prolonged lower abdominal pain. The PA (not a medical doctor) ordered some blood work and sent me for an ‘urgent’ CT the next day. Today is April 18th. No one from Bayside Urgent Care called me back. At all. After waiting two days I figured it wasn’t serious, great! Still in pain, four days later I called my REAL MDs. They were not surprised about this experience, and moved fast to schedule me to have my IUD removed. So much for Bayside. I also learned that the PA at Bayside sent me for a CT scan that was entirely unnecessary, and nearly 3x the cost of what my primary care physician would have ordered. This isn't even the first time Bayside Urgent Care let me down. These people called the wrong person with my negative covid results a number of times and couldn't even figure out where within their CRM my contact information was. Umm...do better?

Careless,unprofessinal, money hungry people that don't care about your health and well being at all ! I visited the clinic on 8/6/2019 due to the fact that I was dealing with a sore throat . They checked my blood pressure , looked at my throat and provided me with a rapid strep test. Test came back negative but physician assistant sent me home with Amoxicillin. She also mentioned that I should feel way better within 24 hours. I started taking antibiotics right away and decided to take a few days off from work to rest and feel better. ( They charged me $365 for the office visit ) After 48 hrs i started feeling horrible , my fever got worse so I decided to call them. I called them in the evening on 8/8/2019 cuz my temperature was 103 F and I was worried about my symptoms getting worse and worse . I explained everything and the lady at the front desk told me that someone will contact me shortly. NOBODY CONTACTED ME - TOTALLY CARELESS People!! so I called them next morning to complain and they asked me to show up at the clinic again . I visited the clinic on 8/9/2019 , they checked my blood pressure , looked at my throat again , drew my blood to see if i have a mono virus. They did 4 attempts to take a small amount of my blood. They called me the next day and told me that they could not send my blood to the lab for some reason but they still charged me for it! They also charge me $232.61 for the second visit. P.S I was treated by a nurse practitioner and did not even see a doctor. I called the clinic manager a few days later,she wasn't at the office at that time but they informed me that she will call me back and of course ,SHE DID NOT - what a surprise ! I called them again a few more times and I finally got to talk to her. I explained the entire situations and she advised me to call their billing department and they will work with me and try to adjust a bill. 3 weeks later - they did not adjust a bill at all ! I paid my bill and decided to stop trying cuz those people do not care about their patients. I would give zero stars if I could . Worst experience ever! Complete nightmare, I can not believe such a careless people exist! Please avoid this place at all costs !!!!!!!
