The receptionist was obviously being trained, and unsure of herself! It was unclear when she was finished with me! I had To ask her! The nurse that did the Covid test wasn’t friendly at all, the it was the most painful thing I’ve ever had to endure! Very very painful! I’ve had the test before and it was painful at all, it was positive the first time I had It done, but they let me do it myself! No one need the applicator stuck up their nose so far that it’s that painful! When I did the first test myself, the medical person told me where to hold the applicator and watched to make sure it was done proper! There is no way the applicator should have to be up your nose so far it’s that painful! I will Not go back to AppleCare and allow myself to be tortured that way again! Thank you!

Everything went fine except for the actual Covid test. Erica Eunice did the procedure and went to the extreme causing my nose to bleed badly. Amber Pittman, NP came into room to examine me and saw the bloody Kleenex and asked what happened. I told Amber Pittman, NP that I had already had test 3 times in past due to medical procedures being performed and this experience as uncalled for. I’m writing this so hopefully no one else will have to experience what I did. Amber Pittman, NP was very nice and apologetic about what happened.

AppleCare Urgent Care in Douglas Ga was the Best experience I have ever had anywhere in the United States. The Staff is a 10+ on the scale I would like to Thank them all!

The people were friendly and professional. But, I only have one complaint. I went in for a covid test. I test positive, but is hasn't given any further instructions. No prescriptions or care instructions. It was 4 until I could talk with my doctor. Then I found out that I should have been on antibiotics and steroids. This could have made a difference in kicking this disease sooner. My husband also went in. The same with his case. He has ended up in the hospital in ICU. Faster treatment may have made a big difference.

The wait area is not being cleaned. I came in for a respiratory illness. One week later was back with Covid symptoms. No one told me on my 1st visit, until after an hour plus wait in the lobby, that I could have stayed in my vehicle. When I got to the treatment area is when I was notified. I had on a mask, but there is no way to fully stay 6 feet away from people being tested for Covid. Now my entire family is at risk. The staff including the providers are incredible, but I really wish I had waited for the next available appt at my regular doc where more Covid precautions are being taken. That waiting area really should be sprayed or wiped down at least hourly. I knew someone else in the clinic that day and between us, we were there for 4 hours with no cleaning efforts taken. I took all possible precautions during my visit including not laying my purse down on any surfaces, using hand sanitizer after checking in, washing my hands once in the back, using sanitizer after I left, sprayed down my shoes & purse before getting in my vehicle, then coming home to shower & putting clothes straight into washing machine. I was tested and received two negative Covid tests the 1st time so I feel confident that I didn't have Covid when I originally went in.
