I know that due to the COVID-19 visitation guidelines are in place. Which I truly respect. I have request Services from Opelousas urgent Care for 4 or more times with grandchildren. Loved the services. On Thursday I arrived and placed call at 11:49 am and was told that the waiting time was up to 2 hours. Having traveled 12+ miles I decided to wait. At 1:18 pm I was called to come for visit unfortunately being a 70 years old .. seating car all that time I needed the restroom and drove to the Walmart parking lot which is several feet away. I answered receptionist and told her I had an emergency and had to leave. I returned in 9 minutes later and was told From a rude receptionist ( that’s why you have sit out there until you are called) now there were 6 patients ahead of me because I had to sign in again. With a waiting time of 1hr 30 minutes. The receptionist was not in a pleasant mood on yesterday. She is Lucky I don’t report her to the corporate office. These are stressful/ trying times for all of us. A little professional kindness goes a Long way. I went to Opelousas because of the previous services and recommended family/ friends to go there. Carencro Urgent Care is closer to me. Guess, I will have re- route
