There are now numerous Urgent Care clinics. In one city, there could be one in a few miles radius from two others. But if you have a choice, I recommend Carbon Health in Los Alamitos. I went there (after being disappointed with the Front Desk service of 2 others) for an incision and draining of a cyst. I was hoping I would not be disappointed – again. Indeed, I was not. At the Front Desk were Irene and Evelyn. Both were very friendly in a professional way and patient with my question related to my insurance because Carbon Health was not within my network. She even printed neighboring urgent care clinics so that I can make call inquiries before leaving. However, Irene was able to resolve my issue. Meanwhile, I notice how kind and serene they listened to the issues of other patients. And by the way, their app is user-friendly. I am not electronics savvy, but I was able to easily navigate the process. Now comes for the doctor to see me for the procedure. In my 3 previous experiences, I was seen by an NP or a PA. I really don’t mind because they are also good. But there is always a feeling that MDs are better qualified. Dr. Aguilera treated me. She is a DO (Google it to compare to MD), with 20 years of practice. I guess being a DO, Dr. Aguilera had the added expertise and training because she needed to rub out the pus from the cyst. And she was not the typical doctor who comes in and out in a few minutes. She took time to converse while treating me. Meanwhile, she was telling me what she was doing at a particular point (because I had my back to her). After the procedure, she gave me post-op instructions. And best of all, she gave her time for a brief conversation. I hope you, the reader, will consider Carbon Health Urgent Care in LOS ALAMITOS in case you need treatment. And I hope even more that there will be the team of IRENE and EVELYN. And Dr. Aguilera will be your attending physician.

This is the second time while visiting California and again the care was exceptional. This time lower back spasms and everyone was so kind, as just walking was very difficult.
