When I arrived at the window, the girl said ‘did you watch the video?’ I replied yes. She pretty much handed me a bag and I was on my own. She said press the button if you have questions, and I never saw her again. So I swabbed as in the video, but when I opened the vial to put my swab in, clear liquid splashed out. The vial is covered in a label so I never even noticed there was liquid, and there was no mention of it in the video. There was no way I was winding down my window to press the button and wait for her while trying to hold the vial and the swab. I just returned it as she said. The wipe they gave to clean the receptacle was bone dry, so I had to use my own. I had done the test at a different cvs location several months prior and had a fantastic experience with an attentive pharmacist who assisted the entire time. This recent one could care less. Due to this, I received an insufficient result and need another test. The minute clinic wrote that they would reach out to me to reschedule, but didn’t. I tried calling the store but got the run around with automated messages and finally it hung up on me after giving me a number to text. I texted and received no reply. I finally just scheduled it on my own. I quarantined over Christmas although my gut says I’m negative, but I have to do this for my job. Thanks to the careless employee, I get to stay in my basement for the New Year, too. I mean, I’m grateful not to be seriously ill, but come on. Do your job.
