I get my blood lab work draws here and the young lady that draws my blood is excellent. She is calm and cool and never had to poke my veins more than one time. It’s a skill and she’s awesome.

People saw a TikTok of a woman with her son, who was diagnosed but refused to take a covid test so the NP could treat him correctly and fully diagnose him to prescribe meds to him. he had viruses, no treatment was to be given, OTC meds, fluids, etc. Can't prescribe meds or treat further if not all testing is done. She was recording in the hallway and then started recording in a room for the staff to input patient information. I hope you are reading this and make an informed decision and get better either way.

New Haven Chlamydia Testing

Who should get tested for chlamydia?

Chlamydia is a common sexually transmitted disease (STD) that can affect both men and women. According to the CDC, sexually active individuals, particularly those aged 25-40, should get tested for chlamydia regularly. This is especially important for those with multiple sexual partners or those who do not consistently use protection during sexual activity. Pregnant women should also get tested to prevent passing the infection to their newborn during childbirth.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for chlamydia is crucial as it often presents no symptoms, leading to it being dubbed the 'silent infection'. If left untreated, chlamydia can lead to serious health problems such as pelvic inflammatory disease in women and epididymitis in men, both of which can cause infertility. Regular testing allows for early detection and treatment, preventing these complications.
