This review is about Mark Barbin, and his unprofessional manner, lack of personal empathy, and medical incompetence. As a PA he demonstrated a dismissive, contemptuous, rude and uncaring demeanor. As a person...he may well be worse. My daughter, college student at CWU, came to the clinic in a lot of pain with an ear infection. Some history, she has perforated ear drums from when she was a baby in China, and has endured several failed tympanoplasty surgeries. So the perforated ear drums are something she just has to live with through adulthood, unless she decides to try more tympanoplasty surgeries at some point. Because of the holes in the ear drum, she can NOT get any water, soap, liquid of any kind, into the ear canal. If she does the pain is absolutely excruciating. This "PA", Mark Barbin, decided to spray blasts of water into her ears to clean out what he said was too much wax in her ears. My daughter didn't know he was going to do that. He spoke to her very disrespectfully, said he couldn't even see her eardrum through "all that crap" in her ear. A "doctor" should know if you don't have an eardrum, you can NOT spray a blast of water into the ear. This happened yesterday 6/4/2022. My daughter Is back at her apt. in Ellensburg, and has been in horrible pain since she left this clinic. Believe me, my daughter would not have received this shabby treatment had her parents been there with her. I hope the dr. in charge of this clinic reads this review. She's got a nasty PA working there that needs to go away. In my opinion as a parent, that man has NO business practicing medicine.
