I was very sick with a bad cough, pain in my side when coughing, eye infection, tired and weak. Don’t know why I was given a vision test. No thorough exam of my eye but given antibiotic drops. Had a slight fever, very high blood pressure, water in the ears snd congestion. I am a Flight Attendant and I can’t go to work like this. She said she only gives antibiotics to old people and people with cancer ??? I am almost 76 years and old. I don’t really remember an exam except looking in my ears where she saw water. She gave me prescriptions and never really explained them other than they will open up my passages. She never talked about my other meds, high blood pressure reading, what to avoid or do, etc. She said she really didn’t know me so I needed to go to my own doctor in a few days. I wanted to be fixed quickly by a real doctor in one visit that’s why I went there. At the pharmacy, I bought Sudafed because I was constantly blowing my nose. The Pharmacist said I could not take that with my blood pressure medicine (your NP should have instructed me about what else I could get). She have me Prednisone ...2 pills a day. Had to cell to see if that meant together? Got Ventilin ...really don’t know what that’s for or if I am using it right. Also got some cough pills. The Pharmacist warned me that I will be dizzy and drowsy...no driving, etc. Can only use those at night...nor during the day. I am the same with these treatments as I was yesterday...still sick, congested, coughing, feverish. I went to Northwestern because my records are there even though your reviews are awful. In the past, I have not had problems with this facility. The exams snd treatment was very thorough. I was disappointed I did not see a doctor who would gave done more. I will need probably neec more treatment but it’s difficult to get into my doctor. Will go to Sherman on McDonald where I know they will get me healthy. I can’t work in this condition and disappointed with the wasted time at your facility.
