Unfortunately for me I chose this urgent care facility when I was in extreme pain from a fall. I had managed the pain for 4 days then it became too much to endure. In the four days I had developed a runny nose and chest congestion. The wait time was minimal, but after a brain CT and several xrays the doctor decided to send in a snarky nurse ( NOT GEORGE AS HE WAS VERY NICE) to tell me I would be getting no scripts for pain nor a shot to dry up runny nose and chest congestion/cough. When I questioned the validity of that decision she left and got doc to approve 12 mild pain pills. I’m not one to request pain meds so am REALLY IN PAIN when I do. I Was told nothing was broken only bruised (head trauma included) and “ I would just have to put up with pain.” “Come back in a week if not better.” Requiring another co-pay. When I mentioned this the snarky nurse said “well without insurance it would have been $5000.00. I may have to go back somewhere but it WON’T be there.

Seen by the NP and was not given adequate treatment. Chest cold coughing up yellow for over a week but only recieved decadron injection. I paid $140 for and x-ray and then had to contact my PCP 2 days later for antibiotics which came too late because I had to be seen at a different urgent care and currently being treated for walking pneumonia and severe bronchitis. At this urgent care I paid $85 and got x-ray, bloodwork, strep and flu test a decade injection and scripts for antibiotics, medrol dose pak and cough syrup. Now who is ripping private pay patients off. Don’t go to Perdido Urgent. Go anywhere else but there. I knew I was in the wrong place when she listened to my lungs but never had me take deep breaths at all. Where did she get her license to practice My name is Charlotte Aaron and I was seen around Aug 31, 2020.
