I’m not sure why so many bad comments. I’ve chosen to go to this location over the others because they have X-ray techs, the wait time is minimal, they put kids movies on their tv and they are nice and I regularly get to see an actual dr. I have no complaints for this location. I have four kids and they will see all at same time if I need it. And I have never driven to this location only to find out they closed early. However the location on Robb Drive is another story.

This location is also my regular practitioner’s location. Since it generally takes two weeks to schedule an appointment use of urgent care often happens. Little things make urgent care frustrating. Sign in online and when you get there you still get to sign in again at the kiosk and fill out paperwork (this information is the same as in the computer since it is my regular practitioner).

If you call the number 775-770-7727 and get to talk to Elizabeth after being on hold. Be prepared for her to send you to Carbon Health who will tell you they aren't st marys anymore. So then call back to have Elizabeth send you back to the same number. I called back a third time to Elizabeth saying that's the only number she has and having to convince her to use some problem solving skills to find another number. She can't be paid much because she is useless. Finally get to urgent care (Elizabeth finally did something right) and tell them the prescription they sent out didn't have a unit of measurement on it and the pharmacy didn't carry that prescription. I asked about the pharmacy and was told they contacted them after hours and they aren't notified of that.

If I could give this place a negative number i would !!! My almost two year old son was taken in to get his fever checked out only to come to find out he had a nurse who was rude and disrespectful. Their excuse was she had short temper with children, so why in the hell would they allow her to work with children then . Made my son go through alot just for being in that visit . His father had to remove her from the room amd ask for a different nurse because she was losing her patients with my son ! And all she had to say was if my son made her go through all of that for nothing and find out her doesn’t have a flu that SHE was going to be mad . I hope she reads this too . If you can’t handle this type of job don’t bother working for it . And they’ve done absolutely nothing to figure out what was wrong with my son all they did was test him for the flu, no medicine was prescribed or recommendations to any doctors instead they told his father if we really want to know what was really wrong with him to take him in the hospital .

DO NOT GO HERE! Physicians and medical assistant I saw were extremely unprofessional, rude and made me feel like a criminal when I had the audacity to ask for a codeine medication for a severe cough. I did not feel like they listened to me at all, or were compassionate about me being sick AND being a paying customer. On top of that, the prescription was not at the pharmacy when I went to pick it up. The medical assistant didn’t seem to care it all that this was an inconvenience when I called and then tried to blame me when I went to the pharmacy written on the prescription I had to take in. One positive note I like that you’re able to schedule an appointment ahead of time online.
