My husband went to AFC sick and having chest pains. He was taken to the exam room and was forgotten. He was waiting almost two and half hours and no one came in for tests or to let him know what was taking so long. He finally left and went to another dr. I called the same day and was told by the manager that since he didn't have any tests he would be reimbursed his copay. I have called four times and left messages with the receptionist to have the manager to return my calls. As of today she hasn't returned my calls or reimbursed his copay. I would not recommend going to AFC if you're sick but if you have to do not pay anything till after your visit. They do not have time to take care of their patients or to return calls. Check their reviews and complaints on BBB before going.

I am glad to find this place especially since it was on a Sunday when I felt ill. Everyone was very nice and the doctor was thorough with the tests that were run and for this I am grateful.

Terrible experience. I went in with a persistent head pain in my left temple. I was told I needed a blood test and to be put on steroids immediately. I was told I would get a call back within 2 days with the results and a plan to extend treatment, or taper the steroids. After 3 days I called and was told to call back the next day. On the 4th day I was told to call back again. After multiple attempts, I was told the lab was never run and the doctor was gone till Monday. This left me without medication or a taper plan. Avoid at all costs.

After numerous visits to doctors, I found this place on a weekend when I had been experiencing issues. Dr. Head was a very compassionate and positive doctor. I went back several weeks later, complaining about the same issue. He put in for an MRI and I finally got results after a long search for 6 months. I recommend this place to anyone.

Was at AFC last week seen Dr. Head. Told him I had this thick mucus coming out of my nose. He said it was my allergies and prescribed me some Flonase nose spray which I already had a refill on so me to call back in a week this Wednesday to talk to him if I wasn't feeling better and he would go from there on prescribing me something else. well I called and the ma took my information and said someone would be calling me back it's been 2 days and no one has followed that with me and I'm still having this problem being congested and this mucus is still coming out of my nose now if I wanted to just pay $10 for the fun of it I could have gave the $10 to a homeless person instead I was just giving it away to American family Care just for the fun of it. Next time I think I'll go to another family care or Not doctor head again I've been hearing things about this doctor but now I have experienced it for myself.
