Recently I visited CityDoc with the worst case of food poisoning I have ever had. From the start the staff was patient, helpful and quick to get me through reception. When I arrived I admit I wasn’t the easiest patient as all I wanted was someone to help ease my symptoms and help me feel better. Of all places we have had to go for urgent care, this has been by far the best.

Research indicates that women of color are always the recipient of sub par healthcare. So when I walk in here in pain, my expectations are already low but telling me that you don’t prescribe narcotics before me even checking in is a new low. Please educate your staff.   I’m not here to drug seek.  I’m here to get rid of the pain I have had for a week. This is why we don’t want to come in with an injury.  And why wasn’t the white man with back pain being advised only the same thing?   I won’t be back.  I don’t need to be judged.

My son was exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19. I was able to book our appointment online, complete all the necessary paperwork digitally and when we arrived we waited for less than 2 minutes before we were called back. We chose to have him tested using the rapid test and we were able to wait in the room for his results. I appreciate their efficiency in our time of need.

They were already aware that my labs were paid for prior to the appointment. I had my labs done on a Wednesday, and I received my results by Saturday. Great experience.
