Express Care of JCMG, Stadium - 1241 W Stadium Blvd
Walked in around 11 on April 24th. Thought I had a UTI. Didn't have to wait too long. The nurse that took me back was very nice & helpful. Nicole Mistler took good care of me. Since urine test was ok, she scheduled me for an x-ray to make sure I didn't have a kidney stone, etc. Radiology didn't take much time & everyone was very nice. I will definitely be back & tell people about my experience. Thank you

About Gonorrhea Testing

Who should get tested for gonorrhea?

Anyone who is sexually active can contract gonorrhea, particularly those with multiple sexual partners or those who do not use condoms regularly. It's also important for pregnant women to get tested, as the infection can be passed to the baby during childbirth. According to the CDC, sexually active women under 25, men who have sex with men, and individuals with HIV should get tested annually.

Importance of getting tested

Gonorrhea is a common sexually transmitted infection that, if left untreated, can cause serious health problems such as pelvic inflammatory disease in women, epididymitis in men, and infertility in both sexes. It can also increase the risk of getting or transmitting HIV. Early detection through testing is crucial in preventing these complications and spreading the infection to others.
