Express Care of JCMG, Stadium - 1241 W Stadium Blvd
Walked in around 11 on April 24th. Thought I had a UTI. Didn't have to wait too long. The nurse that took me back was very nice & helpful. Nicole Mistler took good care of me. Since urine test was ok, she scheduled me for an x-ray to make sure I didn't have a kidney stone, etc. Radiology didn't take much time & everyone was very nice. I will definitely be back & tell people about my experience. Thank you

About Gonorrhea Testing

Who should get tested for gonorrhea?

According to the CDC, anyone who is sexually active can get gonorrhea, especially if they have multiple partners. However, certain groups are at higher risk, including sexually active young adults, men who have sex with men, and individuals with a previous diagnosis of an STD/STI. If you fall into one of these categories and live in Jefferson City, MO, or nearby areas such as Holts Summit, Lohman, New Bloomfield, Hartsburg, or Centertown, it's important to consider regular testing.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for gonorrhea is crucial as the infection can cause serious health problems if left untreated, including infertility in both men and women. Moreover, having gonorrhea increases your chances of getting or transmitting HIV. Testing can help detect the infection early and prevent its spread. It's also important to note that gonorrhea can be asymptomatic, meaning you may not experience any symptoms but can still pass the infection to others.
