Urgent care is a great option for addressing health problems that come up in everyday life. The staff is friendly, efficient and caring. I only waited minutes and was seen and and out of there with prescriptions called in.  Urgent care is the most efficient And friendly medical care option that I know of. I would gladly refer friends to them who are in need of a quick and affordable medical diagnosis.

About Syphilis Testing

Who should get tested for syphilis?

Syphilis is a sexually transmitted infection (STI) that can affect anyone who is sexually active. However, certain groups are at a higher risk and should consider regular testing. These include individuals who have multiple sexual partners, engage in unprotected sex, have a partner who has tested positive for syphilis, or men who have sex with men. If you are pregnant, it is also recommended to get tested for syphilis as it can cause complications during pregnancy and can be passed on to the baby.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for syphilis is crucial for several reasons. First, syphilis often presents no symptoms in its early stages, making it easy to unknowingly spread the infection. Second, if left untreated, syphilis can lead to serious health complications such as damage to the heart, brain, and other organs. Lastly, testing is the only sure way to know if you have syphilis. Knowing your status can help protect your health and the health of your sexual partners.
