Accepts insurance & self-pay

Serving as a primary care provider in the Carthage area, Manzer Family Medicine sees mostly an appointment-driven patient population, however, they may support walk-in patients during certain hours. Their clinic is located at 3071 Grand Ave. It is certainly best to call the clinic to schedule an appointment, or ask about walk-in availability.

Dr. Manzer has always taken time to listen to our physical complaints, and been very supportive. I never feel rushed through, because unlike many doctors, he doesn't have a quota he has to meet. I have been a nurse for over 30 years and I have complete trust in him. If he doesn't know what exactly is wrong, he will send us to someone that specializes in the field.

Come to urgent care sat afternoon around 120 note on door says closed for lunch. No eta on reopen basically forcing people who are sick to keep getting out of car to go look at door. There should be a better way to go about this. I saw 2 people shake their heads and drive off. Not happy

Staff is rude and makes a lot of mistakes. Their health and financial records have been found to be highly inaccurate on so many accounts (not only in my experience). They often spend less than 5 minutes in the room and give no more information than I can find in a simple gooey search and appear to not care when I express concern. Carrie is the only person that I gave seen here that actually seemed to care, I hope she finds a better place to work in. They once called about a balance of less than $7, explaining that I really needed to pay it (even though I had yet to get a bill for it). The receptionists have NEVER come across as friendly or caring, in person or over the phone (if you ever get through to them). They are all around just greedy. Every policy that they have explained to me blatantly shows that they do not care about their patients, they just want to make sure they get as much money out of us as possible.
