Elite Urgent Care - 1524 McHenry Ave
I came in feeling really dizzy and naseaus. The doctor is always so helpful. The wait was a little longer than usual but there were a lot of sick people there so it's understandable. It's still the only urgent care I'll go to.

STAT MED Urgent Care, Livermore: In-Clinic Visit - 4465 First St, Livermore
1. Sign up/Sign in and Covid test done in a fairly hassle free manner. 2. Jennifer the kind lady who checked me in was super sweet, put my mind at ease and also indulged in having my little one get her BP checked cuz she was soooo curious lol. She earns most of the stars in my review :) 3. The provider I met, Kellie was also easy to talk to and her experience showed well through her diagnosis. The in-clinic treatment provided definitely took away some of my pressing concern. 4. All in all, I’m happy I’ve found a good urgent care so close to home. Amazing though my first experience was, I do hope I won’t be seeing them too frequently..lol!!

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who believes they may have been exposed to the hepatitis virus should consider getting tested. This includes individuals who have shared needles, had unprotected sex, or have lived with someone who has hepatitis. Additionally, healthcare workers and those who have traveled to areas with high rates of hepatitis should also be tested. In Manteca, CA, the need for testing may be higher due to certain risk factors, which we will discuss later.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it can help prevent the spread of the virus to others and allow for early treatment, reducing the risk of liver damage. According to the CDC, early detection can also help prevent the development of liver cancer, which is often associated with hepatitis.

Hepatitis testing options in Manteca, CA:

Urgent care and walk-in clinics

Urgent care and walk-in clinics offer hepatitis testing, often with same-day results. One such location in the Manteca area is Instant Urgent Care in Tracy, CA. You can book same-day and next-day testing appointments at these locations through Solv’s website and mobile app.

Primary care providers

Primary care providers can also conduct hepatitis testing. If you have a regular doctor, they can provide a referral for testing or may even be able to conduct the test themselves.

Free STD testing and community health centers

There are also free STD testing and community health centers in and around Manteca that offer hepatitis testing. These centers can be a valuable resource for those without health insurance or those who cannot afford the cost of testing.

At-home testing

At-home testing kits for hepatitis are available and can be a convenient option for those who prefer not to visit a clinic. These kits can be purchased online or at a local pharmacy.

Prevalence of hepatitis in Manteca

While specific data for Manteca is not readily available, San Joaquin County, where Manteca is located, has seen a steady rate of hepatitis cases in recent years. This rate is comparable to nearby counties such as Washoe County and San Mateo County, but lower than the national average, according to the CDC.

Risk factors related to hepatitis in Manteca

Risk factors for hepatitis in Manteca include unprotected sex, drug use, and close contact with someone who has the virus. Additionally, certain populations, such as the homeless and those who are incarcerated, are at a higher risk.

Other STDs in Manteca

In addition to hepatitis, other STDs such as gonorrhea, chlamydia, HIV, and syphilis are also present in Manteca. The rates of these STDs are similar to those of hepatitis, with gonorrhea and chlamydia being the most common. As with hepatitis, testing for these STDs is available at local clinics and through at-home testing kits.
