The front desk check in person was not particularly friendly. This not my first interaction with her, Celeste. She gathers the necessary information and is rather robotic about it. Not incredibly welcoming. (I’ve been to PM on several occasions for COVID testing since out Pediatrician’s office does not test at all for COVID.) The nurse, Roy, who worked with us at this most recent visit on 9/18/21) walked right in the room, apologized for our wait, but barely made eye contact with myself or my child and then had his back to us while he asked all of the intake questions. He was not warm or attempting to be reassuring to my 7 year old who was clearly nervous to be seen/examined. The doctor we saw was fine and I have no specific objections or concerns. I have been to PM before and really enjoyed the providers (Dr. Mordechai-forgive me because I forget his last name and nurse Amanda. They have been exceptional!) I fully realize that the staff I BUSY given this pandemic but I do have better expectations for an improved beside manner and interactions with families. I, myself, am a pediatric provider so I know what it feels like to be exhausted and still have to work, but you still owe a level of kindness, compassion and warmth in your exchanges with patients and families…especially children.

Tonight was extra busy and we were told it would be a long wait but I am so happy with the service here that I was willing to wait more than 2 hours (this was unusual, my wait time is usually 10-15 minutes) I didn’t want to go to a different urgent care. The staff are always friendly and pleasant. It is clean and welcoming and everything goes smoothly. Glad we found a nice place like this that is close to home.

We always bring our kids here. Best experience by far. Even better than the pediatrician office!

I’ve brought my kids here many times . Sometimes there’s a long wait time , but today’s visit was great! In and out within 30min. Nurse and Doctor took their time to ask questions and answer any questions I had. Gave recommendations and I left feeling satisfied from the visit.

First time patients, my family and I needed a COVID test. We had made an appointment at CVS, and when we arrived we were told we couldn’t take the tests. PM Pediatrics was quick to help us out. The staff was friendly and helpful and we are able to get our results the same day. I would recommend PM Pediatrics to others, and my wife and I would certainly bring our son back for urgent care.

Staff seemed very annoyed that I was able to get a covid test appointment scheduled online and it showed in the male nurses bedside manner. Receptionist did me a huge favor by allowing me to get tested even though I should have had a virtual visit prior to being able to get tested. Glitch in the website needs to be fixed ASAP so that other adults do not make the mistake I did.

The staff at front desk was courteous, friendly and answered our questions, updated us on the wait time for the room. However, the doctors and nurse that checked us are awful. My little one was screaming at the new environment, the nurse came and asked us a bunch of questions to verify our information (which is all fine). But she failed to inform us about the different types of swabs that needs to be done for covid tests. She just did a nose swab and left the room. After the nurse practitioner came in to discuss the symptoms and then she asked me if I needed an express PCR or 2-day PCR test. I wanted an express PCR test for covid as I need to do the results ASAP coz I CARE ABOUT MY SON and HIS SICKNESS, not a mere checklist of things to cross out. Anyways the nurse who took the swab did not go deeper so I had to wait for 2-days to get our results. Most annoying part is the nurse practitioner who kept saying “either way he cannot go to daycare until he is fever free for 24 hrs so getting the results earlier does not matter”. Again I am concerned about his health and not interested in knowing when to put him to daycare. And this practitioner does not have to give her opinion on it. When I insisted for an earlier result, I was offered to do another swab for express PCR and the pricing was compared between the various options. I decided not to do another swab again as I could not put the child to further discomfort on top of his sickness. Really wish the information was provided beforehand to make an informed decision, rather than feeling helpless and lost. It might be a mere list of things to strike for you, but some of us, knowing whetherour child is covid positive or negative is a big deal. Extremely disappointed with the care and everything we were put through during our time there. Will not recommend this clinic to anyone.
