I have been coming in to see Lance for years. If I can’t see him I use Chris. But have seen Debbie or Jennifer. I have always respected their diagnosis and did what they said. Lance is my favorite because he knows my history and he diagnosed my thyroid disease first visit. And they are busy people and the time does get away from them, but when you are good you do have lots of patients that wanna see you. Patience’s is a virtue so sometimes you have to wait even with appointment. But it’s worth it if you have confidence in your Dr.

Forrest City Chlamydia Testing

Who should get tested for chlamydia?

Chlamydia is a sexually transmitted infection (STI) that can affect anyone who is sexually active. However, certain groups are at a higher risk and should consider regular testing. These include sexually active women under 25, men who have sex with men, and individuals with multiple sexual partners or those who do not consistently use condoms during sex. According to the CDC, if you fall into any of these categories, it's recommended to get tested annually for chlamydia.

Importance of getting tested

Chlamydia is often asymptomatic, meaning it can be present without showing any signs or symptoms. This makes testing crucial for early detection and treatment. If left untreated, chlamydia can lead to serious health complications such as pelvic inflammatory disease in women and epididymitis in men, both of which can cause infertility. Furthermore, having chlamydia increases your risk of acquiring other STIs, including HIV.
