I went to urgent care because I had a infection from a scratch on my head and it spread .. I went there for the first time walked in and the receptionist took my info . I started to sit down but the nurse was already calling my name . The very friendly professional nurse took blood pressure.and ask some questions . As she walk out the doctor came in . She was very nice and professional look at my head and neck and confirmed it was a infection . She gave me antibiotic . Total time was about 15 minutes . . I would recommend the urgent care .. And now I will be seeing a doctor there .. I will be doing a review .. Thanks Debbie

This website is a scam, you don’t ever book online at North Pointe Immediate Care, it is walk in ONLY. The hours of operation are wrong! Call them and find out for yourself. The person who gave a bad review probably never was seen there, that would never happen there. Why do people have to lie?

About Gonorrhea Testing

Who should get tested for gonorrhea?

According to the CDC, anyone who is sexually active can get gonorrhea, especially if they have multiple partners. However, certain groups are at a higher risk, including sexually active women under 25, men who have sex with men, and individuals with a history of gonorrhea or other STDs. If you fall into these categories, or if you have recently had unprotected sex with a new partner, you should consider getting tested for gonorrhea.

Importance of getting tested

Gonorrhea is a sexually transmitted infection that, if left untreated, can cause serious health problems. For women, this can include pelvic inflammatory disease, which can lead to infertility. For men, gonorrhea can cause a painful condition in the tubes attached to the testicles, which can also lead to infertility. Regular testing is crucial as gonorrhea can be asymptomatic, meaning you could have the infection without showing any symptoms. Early detection through testing allows for prompt treatment, preventing these serious complications.
