Restore Health Urgent Care - 1840 Eldron Blvd SE, Palm Bay
. The front desk staff was friendly but the nurse taking vitals etc acted like it was an imposition the I was there. I was finally seen one hour and 10 minutes after my scheduled appointment. Unfortunately the nurse Practioner was not able to help so overall it was a negative experience.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the CDC, anyone who has been exposed to hepatitis through unprotected sex, sharing needles, or from an infected mother to her newborn during childbirth should get tested. Additionally, those who have traveled to countries with high rates of hepatitis, or have been in close contact with someone who has the disease should also consider getting tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it can lead to serious health problems if left untreated, including liver damage, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. Early detection can help prevent these complications and slow the progression of the disease. Moreover, knowing your status can help prevent the spread of the virus to others.

Free STD testing and community health centers

There are also community health centers that offer free or low-cost hepatitis testing. These centers are a valuable resource, especially for those without insurance or with limited financial resources.

At-home testing

At-home testing kits are another option. These kits can be ordered online and used in the privacy of your own home. After collecting a sample, it's sent to a lab for analysis.
